One of the requirements of this course is to write a concert report based on a musical performance here at the UI School of Music or Hancher Auditorium. Here is a link to the Concert Report Guidelines document.

Arts Iowa Music Events
There are dozens of concerts and recitals to choose from. One of the highlights will be:

University of Iowa Symphony and Choirs with alumni present Mahler's Symphony No.2, "The Resurrection"

Recital Attendance Calendar
If you are also enrolled in Recital Attendance, you may write your concert report about one of the concerts you attend for that course. Please remember to follow proper concert etiquette as explained in the syllabus of that course.

Hancher Auditorium 
Almost all of the events at Hancher would qualify for your concert report, but the following are most closely related to our course:

• Maya Beiser, cello - Oct. 27
• Pomp Brass and Lunacy, Orchestra Iowa - Nov. 5
